Kent Video Services is run by Owen ‘OD’ Hunte, an experienced filmmaker, technologist, and designer.
Owen brings over two decades of creative and technical expertise to clients across Kent, London, and beyond — handling all projects personally, from initial concept through to delivery.
Owen ‘OD’ Hunte is a multi-agency signed commercial model and actor with credits including BMW, Google, and Facebook. He is a prolific stock video producer with over 6,000 curated clips available online at stocksy.com/odhunte. As the founder of Motion Picture Hardware, he designs innovative camera accessories, including the Heavy Duty Gimbal L Bracket and custom accessories for the Blackmagic PYXIS 12K and 6K, as well as for the DJI Ronin RS series of gimbals. Owen was individually awarded for his invention of the Apple AirTag video cage in collaboration with SmallRig.
Originally born in Trinidad in the Caribbean, Owen moved to the UK at age 16. He has been working in photography and video for over 23 years, bringing a rich blend of technical insight and artistic vision to his work across multiple disciplines.
Formerly a production music producer, Owen has composed for top-tier clients such as EMI, BMG, SKY, and Universal Music Production. His music has been featured in hundreds of television shows, including Pimp My Ride, Making the Band, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Love Island, and in two EA Sports games.
He holds a degree in Physics with Modern Acoustics from the University of Surrey and is also a published drone photographer.
As a tech entrepreneur, Owen founded the iPhone app company Appnoose, whose game reached #1 in the free kids category across 11 countries. He also created ITGO, the world’s first dual-playlist interval training app, which earned recognition from Apple.
He is currently growing a YouTube channel focused on tech tutorials, product reviews, and hands-on “how to” segments for creatives, filmmakers, and content producers.
With a deep, hands-on understanding of the filmmaking process and a wealth of experience in design, Owen is a valuable resource for consultation on UI, UX, and product usability—particularly for tools and workflows used by the creative industry.
A lifelong artist, Owen began his creative journey through drawing and painting. He was the first student at the University of Surrey to hold a solo art exhibition while still attending the university.
